Barbara Sparti (1932-2013): Tradition, Memory, Heritage

ActaLauris is currently accepting submissions for the next issue, Volume 4, which will be dedicated to Barbara Sparti. 

Barbara Sparti was one of the most influential figures of the late 20th - and early 21th-century early dance movement, and her scientific, artistic, and pedagogical contributions to the study fo 15th- to 18th-century dance are numerous.

Having recognized Barbara Sparti as virtuosissima in 2009, the Accademia del Lauro's online scientific journal ActaLauris now intend to which Sparti's teaching methodology, reconstructions, and publications have influenced our research in the field of early dance and music.

Deadline: October 1th, 2017. Applicants will be notified by November 30th 2017. The advisory board reserves the right to request a partial revision fo the work before publication.

Contributions are accepted in Italian, Spanish, French, and English.
